Tulley Wahren, LPCC-S

Tulley Wahren is a pediatric mental health specialist at Dayton Children’s and serves as a staff development clinical supervisor for the mental health team. He supports counselors and interns and helps guide care for trauma and trauma-related disorders, including trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). With experience working with children and families affected by abuse and complex trauma, Tulley focuses on making care thoughtful, evidence-based and easy to understand.

Care starts with listening, safety and partnership. Tulley believes the best pediatric mental health care supports the whole child and the whole family, with plans built around each family’s strengths, goals and daily life. He chose this work to make a lasting difference for kids today and for stronger, healthier communities tomorrow. Outside of work, Tulley is intentional about making time for himself, as he knows it supports his wellbeing. He enjoys running, woodworking and cooking with family.
