Professional Statement
Dr. Sean Antosh is a pediatric anesthesiologist who is specially trained to care for babies, kids, and teens by helping them fall asleep gently for surgery, carefully watching their heart and lungs during the surgery, and helping them wake up safely. He cares for the whole child during moments that can feel scary, with a special focus on neurodiverse children, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, or developmental differences. Dr. Antosh takes time to understand how each child communicates and what helps them feel calm and secure. He works closely with families and the care team to create personalized, sensory‑friendly plans that reduce stress and support a positive experience.
Dr. Antosh is especially passionate about helping neurodiverse patients feel understood and respected. He finds the greatest reward in seeing children and families relax when they feel seen and supported. He also shares his expertise through national teaching, helping improve pediatric anesthesia care for families far beyond the local community.
