Max Tokarsky, PsyD

Dr. Max Tokarsky is a pediatric psychologist who supports children and families across a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Dr. Tokarsky treats mental health conditions that occur in childhood and brings deep experience working with families from many cultural and ethnic backgrounds. He values each family’s traditions, beliefs and lived experiences and works to honor culture as it is defined by the family. 

Dr. Tokarsky enjoys partnering with children and caregivers to create meaningful, lasting changes in a child’s environment. His work often includes parent-child interaction therapy, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. Teaching middle school and volunteering with immigrant teens inspired Dr. Tokarsky to pursue psychology and deepen his work with youth. Outside of care, Dr. Tokarsky stays active in the Dayton community and enjoys yoga, bicycling, aquariums and learning about Eastern philosophy.
