About Mary Beth DeWitt

Professional Statement

Dr. Mary Beth DeWitt is a pediatric psychologist and the division chief of child psychology at Dayton Children's. She supports children and families as they navigate concerns related to emotional and mental health. Dr. DeWitt cares for children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, chronic health conditions, and other challenges that can affect development and progress. She is especially passionate about helping families get the right support as early as possible. Early intervention, using evidence-based care, can help prevent longer-term challenges.

Dr. DeWitt is inspired by this work from seeing the resilience of the children she cares for and the dedication of their parents. It is her privilege to help kids along their journey of growth and development, and to be part of the support they need in times they need it most.
