Professional Statement

Dr. Marc Nelson is a pediatric ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist at Dayton Children's. He cares for children with a wide range of ENT conditions, from common concerns to the most complex needs. He has special expertise in pediatric airway conditions, cochlear implantation and evaluating neck masses. Dr. Nelson is passionate about helping families understand their child’s condition and guiding them through treatment options with confidence and clarity.

Dr. Nelson chose pediatric otolaryngology because he is fascinated by how the ear, nose and throat connect, form and function. He enjoys providing the full spectrum of surgical ENT care and partnering closely with families to determine the best path forward for each child. Outside of work, Dr. Nelson enjoys making and collecting music, cooking, traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
