Did an excellent job discussing the issue with my child and explaining causes and treatment. She seemed very professional and well educated in the issue

I’m not sure this visit adequately addressed my daughter’s needs for the amount of time spent. The most disappointing aspect was that the mental health intake not only didn’t give permission for her father to stay out of the room during the intake but invited him into the room. She needed to talk about her relationship with her parents and it’s too much to ask a young teenager to dismiss her parent from the room without the help of the adult. It was awkward for her father and for her and thus what needed to be addressed didn’t get fully addressed.

Dr. Scott and her staff were absolutely amazing in dealing with my daughter, listening to her, asking appropriate questions, getting quick images, and talking to us about the follow-up care. I would highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Scott and the Dayton Children's Sports Med Clinic to any and all family and friends.

I had been to 3 other providers to discuss my daughter’s concussion and this was the first appointment where I left actually feeling like I understood her recovery process.

I feel that the Center for the Female Athlete has allowed doctors to talk to my daughter to look at a whole picture and analyze concerns, keeping her whole self in mind as an athlete to make sure that she can succeed in her sport.

Dr Scott takes the time to listen to my daughter and explain things to her in a way that gets her involved in the treatment plan instead of my daughter feeling like she has no control of her injury and healing process. That has given my daughter more of a sense of ownership in the management of herself as an athlete.

I thought that the provider was very thoughtful, kind, educated, and I was really impressed with the visit. And she seemed to really care about my child and getting them better and a good game plan. And I walked away as happy as I could be from that visit.
