About Lawrence E Daykin

Professional Statement

Dr. Lawrence Daykin is a pediatrician who cares for babies, kids and teens. He supports healthy growth and development at well-child visits and when a child is sick. Dr. Daykin is passionate about screening for developmental delays, helping children with mental health challenges, and providing tools to help prevent disease. When families have questions about what they’ve seen on social media or in the news, Dr. Daykin takes the time to listen and explain choices so they can make the best decision for their child.

Dr. Daykin partners with families and looks at the whole child—body, mind and daily life. He chose pediatrics after seeing healthcare gaps in college and during his Peace Corps service, and he’s motivated to provide steady care close to home. Fun fact: Dr. Daykin sings in his church choir, loves baking bread and cheesecake, and likes to dabble in woodworking.

Dr. Dakin has been our doctor, my son's pediatrician, since he was born and that is 11 years, a little over 11 years. We are very satisfied with him and will stick with him until my son ages out. I do appreciate how Dr. Dakin personally calls back when you call to leave a message for him and goes over any concerns personally himself. That means a lot to me as a mother. We are highly satisfied. Thank you.

The office staff is very nice, and they're very thorough, and they definitely call me back if I have any questions or concerns. I feel like I am answered in a timely manner. Thank you.

Nurse and MA were not overly friendly and really didn’t talk or interact with my child at all. Also, not impressed when we left our appointment to see a nurse outside smoking a cigarette.
