Katherine M DeMasie, MD

As a pediatric anesthesiologist, Dr. DeMasie is specially trained to care for babies, kids, and teens by helping them fall asleep gently for surgery, carefully watching their heart and lungs during the surgery, and helping them wake up safely afterward. Families searching for pediatric anesthesia, pain control for kids, or support for sensory needs during surgery can trust Dr. DeMasie to help patients and families feel safe and calm their nerves.

Dr. DeMasie chose pediatrics because she believes in the resilience and joy children bring to even the toughest moments. Making kids feel safe and cared for is the heart of her work. Outside the hospital, Dr. DeMasie loves cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts, spending time with her husband and their cats, and indulging her big sweet tooth!
