Heather Dyer, MD

Dr. Heather Dyer is a pediatric hospital medicine physician, also called a hospitalist, who specializes in caring for children who need to stay in the hospital. Hospitalists are in the hospital 24/7 to make sure expert care is always available. Dr. Dyer cares for children with everything from stomach pain, to zinc deficiency, to bronchiolitis, to injuries, to recent surgeries.

Dr. Dyer understands having a child in the hospital is stressful and affects the entire family. Her goal is to support the whole family and help parents feel informed, comfortable and involved throughout their child's stay. Dr. Dyer sees parents as experts on their own children and partners closely with families to provide care that meets each child’s unique needs. Outside of work, Dr. Dyer enjoys time with her family, including raising two sets of twins, and has a fun talent for reading and writing backwards!
