Elizabeth A Yarger, CPNP

Liz Yarger, CPNP-PC is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the division of gastroenterology and nutrition at Dayton Children's Hospital. Liz was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati. She then attended graduate school at Wright State University. She has a special interest in caring for pediatric patients admitted to the hospital with inflammatory bowel disease, feeding difficulties and poor weight gain but she sees patients with a variety of other gastrointestinal diagnoses as well. 
Liz's favorite thing about working with kids is their resilience and ability to smile during one of the scariest times in their lives. She loves having the opportunity to serve as a champion to children and their families.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling and volunteering in the community.
