Professional Statement
After earning his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Dr. Nguyen completed his residency in pediatric urology at the University of Minnesota, where he also served as chief resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric urology at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in hypospadias, abnormal genital development, and kidney and bladder abnormalities. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as an assistant professor of surgery and pediatrics at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and is passionate about advocating for children’s health and access to care.
One of Dr. Nguyen’s favorite parts of working with children is telling jokes and making them laugh. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, birdwatching and photography.

Dr. Wynn was very thorough and he has a very nice bedside manner. He has a way of making an uncomfortable situation a lot more comfortable and easy. He's a very nice man.

Dr. Nguyen was amazing with my son! He talked gently and calmly to my toddler while explaining what he was doing and checking for. During diaper changes my son rolls around like an alligator but was very content to sit calmly and listen to Dr. Nguyen. I do believe children can recognize great people when they see them, and my son loved Dr. Nguyen. I feel very comfortable and at ease with him being the one to look after and soon operate on my son.

Thank God for Dr. Nguyen! He is a gem. We have been seeing him for almost 10 years. He saved my son’s kidneys. He has helped us go from potential surgery to very conservative management. He is such a smart man who really sees the big picture and helps find root causes not just bandaid fixes. We LOVE him and don’t trust anyone else to see our son.
