Dina Thurman, CPNP

Dina Thurman is a nurse practitioner who brings pediatric healthcare to students where they spend their day: at school. As a school-based health nurse practitioner, Dina supports local school communities with sports physicals, checkups, minor illnesses and helps with mental health concerns, so kids can feel better, stay healthy and keep learning. Being in a school means kids can get treatment, advice or reassurance without missing a lot of school or facing barriers like transportation challenges. 

Dina's care starts with listening. By building trust and partnering with families, she focuses on the whole child—body, feelings and home life. Together, families and Dina create a plan that fits each child and supports steady school attendance. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing students gain confidence and thrive.
