Casey Brandon Walker, PMHNP

Casey Walker is part of the psychiatry team at Dayton Children’s, providing evaluation and treatment for children and teens with mental health conditions. He works closely with families to promote healing and emotional resilience. Casey loves working with kids becasue they are so resilient and fun to talk to – he enjoys trying to see life from their perspective and giving them a space to be heard.

When asked about his current role, he shared, "I was lucky enough to start my professional career at DCH–first as a PCA, then a nurse, and finally as a nurse practitioner! I feel my time as a nurse on the inpatient behavioral health unit has helped me to care for my patients as a whole with the transition into the nurse practitioner role. I have been blessed to learn from the amazing psychiatry team at Dayton Children's, which has been monumental in my practice."

Outside of work Casey loves any sport or outdoor activity, with basketball and disc golf being his favorite to play. He also enjoys music and playing guitar.
