Everything was great. The only thing is I think the waterproof cast should be provided for kids and not 75.00 dollars out of pocket but other than that things were great

I was not impressed with the nurse that came in after the doctor visit. The doctor had told the nurse to put a bandage over his wound. The nurse came in, quickly got a bandage and threw it at me and said “Here mom ,you can put the bandage on“ and rushed out of the room.

From the 1st visit to the last I felt confident that my grandson was in good hands and he was comfortable with the Dr as well. We will recommend his Dr to anyone one that is in need of an orthopedic Dr.

Carrie was very friendly and made my son feel more comfortable. She was very personable and I would definitely see her again.

I didn't get to see the xrays as I was told. She didnt want to give my child a boot to transition from the cast until he kept collapsing in the room from walking on it. She said that she could still see the break but it was healing fine so he should be okay. I made sure he got a boot but after 2 days in the boot, he refuses to put weight on his leg and will do anything to not put weight on it. He was walking fine in the cast, now hes back to refusing anything and constantly complains his foot hurts.

All of our providers that we met with at our last visit were incredibly professional, kind, and comforting. It was a very nice experience.

We have seen this doctor before, more than once, and every single time. She is very thorough and very conscientious to the issue my son is having, period. She is very thorough and makes sure you understand what you can do to help the issue. And was always willing to listen to Any additional questions or suggestions can provide additional suggestions as needed. She was excellent.

I absolutely enjoyed the care and attention my son received. My child has Autism and sometimes struggles a lot being confined in a room. The nurses and doctor was very understanding.

We have always had a great experience when taking our children to Dayton Children's. Everyone there is so nice and they take their time with the kids to help make what is going on a fun thing and not scary. Everything is always explained and all of our questions have been answered. It's a great hospital and we will us it as long as we can.

So friendly! Extremely kind and thorough. Fun and intentional with my daughter! Explained well, cared and asked me questions. I really enjoyed and appreciated her!

Waited almost an hour for an xray with no explanation why we were waiting and no one checked on us between orders intake and the xray

The doctor actually listened to my daughter, other doctors have came in and just acted like they didn’t want to be there but not this last one. She listened to her and understood that she was hurting and that she needed help

we had a wonderful experience at dayton children’s. We will highly recommend them to any family and friends. if we need services provided through Children’s Hospital, we will be traveling to Dayton from now on.

My son wanted to take his cast with him after they removed it and asked if he could and they said yes. Well, in our mistake and hurry to leave we left it behind on the counter. When we realized we drove right back and ran up to ask if they still had it. They bent over backwards to find it for him. Now obviously this was not a very important thing and they could’ve easily shrugged it off and just told us there was nothing they could do, especially with all the responsibilities these workers have. In the innocent eyes of my kid, though, it was extremely important and meant a lot to him. I am very thankful that they recognized that and took so much care and didn’t dismiss him. It’s experiences like these that makes me want to choose the longer drive every time. Thank you.
