Caitlyn McComb, MD

Dr. Caitlyn McComb is a board-certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist at Dayton Children’s Hospital. She cares for children with cancer and blood disorders. Dr. McComb has additional experience in blood and bone marrow transplantation and cell therapy, and helps families navigate complex diagnoses with steady, continuous care. She also collaborates with transplant centers to support smooth transitions to and from Dayton Children’s when advanced treatment is needed. 

Dr. McComb partners closely with families, listens first, and explains each step in clear, kid-friendly language. She works with the full care team to ensure each plan supports the whole child and family. Inspired by kids’ resilience, Dr. McComb loves pediatrics because patients teach her something new every day. A Dayton-area native, Dr. McComb is proud to give back to the community at Dayton Children’s.
