We felt listened to & Dr. Mathews ordered testing to try to get to the root of the problem rather than just putting a label of constipation. She was very thorough. I appreciated her time & expertise!

My son's doctor greatly helped my son thru his health crises that he suddenly expierenced at 16 years old. My son is doing alot better now! At our most recent appointment, Within literally 60 seconds of "checking in" we was called back to see the doctor. The whole process was very smooth with little to no waiting! I highly recommend Dayton children's hospital.

And we didn't feel rushed and just pressured to leave as soon as possible like most doctor's appointments. My faith in the medical industry has declined rapidly over the past couple of years. I will say that Dr. Mathews is one of the first doctors I've seen in probably five years that actually restored somewhat of my faith in the medical industry. Thank you.

Dr Matthews is a tremendous addition to the GI staff at Dayton Childrens. Smart, caring and a great listener. She has established a great rapport with me and is always working to ensure she understands what is happening and talks through my options.

April Mathews is amazing. My daughter, I couldn't have asked for somebody better for her. She's very good at explaining things and making you feel comfortable, especially my daughter who gets freaked out a little bit with doctors. So she does amazing.
