Angie Butts is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Healthy Me clinic at Dayton Children's. She provides comprehensive care for children and teens with weight concerns, including elevated BMI and insulin resistance. She helps families understand what’s going on with their child’s growth and health. Angie offers education, evaluation and treatment options that may include healthy lifestyle changes and, when appropriate, weight loss medications. Her goal is to explain choices clearly and support each child’s physical, emotional and everyday wellbeing.

She's a very wonderful provider. She answers all my questions. She gives wonderful advice and I just really appreciate her. She takes her time in the room. I have a lot of questions as she knows and she does not rush through answering my questions. When she's done, I totally understand everything that she's explained to me.

I love the team that my daughter sees. They are all so friendly and knowledgeable and put my daughter at ease. They take the time to know her. We are seen at her appointment time and the entire visit runs smoothly.

Angela Butts is extremely thorough. We love working with her. She has helped us to identify some health obstacles that my child was going through that we had no idea about. And she's helped us through it and still helping us through it and is always accurate, always on top of things, always very informative and makes sure that any of our questions are answered.
