Adam G Mezoff, MD

Dr. Adam Mezoff is the chief medical officer at Dayton Children’s Hospital and a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist who cares for children with digestive and nutrition concerns. Before specializing in pediatric gastroenterology, Dr. Mezoff practiced general pediatrics at Wurtsmith Air Force Base Hospital in Oscoda, Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. Dr. Mezoff went on to complete his internship and residency in general pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in the Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition there. 

Dr. Mezoff chose pediatric gastroenterology because he wanted to help children living with chronic diseases. Some of his favorite things about working at Dayton Children’s include the people, the hospital’s just‑right size, and the opportunity to help the Dayton community receive the best care available anywhere in the country, right here at home.
