The Dayton Children’s South Campus emergency department in Springboro is open 24 hours a day to care for children in need of emergency medical attention. If specialized care or advanced treatment is required, our mobile intensive care unit can safely transport your child to Dayton Children’s main campus—the region’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center verified by the American College of Surgeons. Free parking is available in the surface lot directly outside the emergency department. Please note that wait times are estimates and may vary based on the number and severity of patients’ conditions. Children with the most serious emergencies are always seen first. For life-threatening situations, call 911 immediately.
